FAQ

Everyone loves a party, so we hire to members of the public as well as businesses.

Both! Some of our large, fragile, or electrical props need to be delivered by our team (these are marked on the website as Install only) but other props you are more than welcome to collect. 

Just check the size of the props you would like to hire – some are very bulky and will not fit in the back of a car.  

The collection and return of Props are available from 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday.

There is no minimum spend on Prop Hire.

Our standard Prop Hire is 3 days. We find this to be the perfect amount of time to allow for collecting and returning props whilst also having time to enjoy your event on the day. If you require a longer hire period, please complete the quote form online or contact the team on (07) 3555 8660.

It takes a lot to prepare our props for hire. They are cleaned and sanitised before and after each hire. They are carefully selected, prepared, and packed for their journey to you. To cover this there is a 12% maintenance and handling fee on all our prop’s excursions.

1. Cancellation fees apply to bookings that are cancelled prior to collection/delivery date. Cancellation 3-7 days prior results in a fee of 50% of the total order. Cancellation less the 3 days prior incurs a 100% cancellation fee.

2. All goods list, damaged or stolen, howsoever caused while on hire, must be paid for by the client. The client shall pay THE PROP HOUSE the cost to replace or repair the item, THE PROP HOUSE reserves the right to decide if replacement or repair is most appropriate, irrespective of the age or condition of the item.

3. THE PROP HOUSE's count and/or decision as to the condition of props at the time of hire and on return shall be final.

4. All props are to be returned in a clean and presentable condition as per delivery. Should hire items to collected by THE PROP HOUSE they must be clean, dry and in a readily accessible location. THE PROP HOUSE reserves the right to charge additional fees should extra time be needed to repack items or re visit a collection site as a failure on the part of the client to adhere to these conditions.

5. An additional weekly hire fee (50% of original total) will be charged for hire goods and not returned on the agreed day, within this hire confirmation.

6. No warrenty if provided by THE PROP HOUSE. The client relinquishes THE PROP HOUSE from any liability, without predjudice, that may result from the hire of these items, THE PROP HOUSE is not liable for any and all damages or claims relating to the equipment hired.

7. Props are subject to availability at time of hire.

8. Payment of goods must be made in full, at the time of booking to secure props.
